A man who claimed he was the son of singer/songwriter/producer Kenneth ?Babyface? Edmonds was arrested Friday according to sources, after he demanded $9 million to keep his mouth shut.?
John T. Clark, 23, was charged with felony theft and intimidation. He is being held at the Marion County Jail without bond. Prosecutors say Clark threatened to go on the Oprah Winfrey show and expose Babyface.
Clark was arrested after leaving a meeting with the Babyface?s attorney at a Downtown restaurant. Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi said Edmonds has ?categorically denied having any contact with Clark?s mother.?
