AvantR&B singers Avant and KeKe Wyatt have gone overboard for love -or- Love Overboard that is.

Avant and Wyatt, who struck gold with the 2001 hit "Nothing In This World" are reuniting on stage in Je'Caryous Johnson's new stage play "Love Overboard,' Singersroom has learned.

Avant tells Singersroom the new play will make stops in New York, Washington D.C., Atlanta and several other cities through Spring.

"I’m doing a stage play right now called “Love Overboard” with Khalil Kane, Carl Payne, Keke Wyatt, and Karen White," says the "Break Your Back" singer.

In addition to "Love Overboard," Avant is focused on his next project -- an album with Keke Wyatt !

"With me it will probably include six original songs and then six songs you (may) have heard before. Since we are in a recession, depression or whatever you want to call it, we all need something we can hold on to. I think music right now is the turning point".

I recently saw Avant in "Love Overboard" at the JL Knight Center in Miami. His music gives me chills and he's an even better actor. This man is truly multitalented and I highly recommend seeing him if the play makes a stop in your city. Way to go Avant.
