R&B singer Chris Brown is involved in what Los Angeles authorities are calling a domestic battery case, just hours before the Grammys !
According to L.A. news sources, the 19-year-old R&B singer and a woman were in a vehicle in the Hancock Park neighborhood early Sunday when they began arguing.
Police say Brown and the woman got out of the car and the argument escalated. The woman identified Brown as her attacker and had visible injuries when officers arrived. Officers say Brown wasn't at the scene.
The "Superhuman" singer was spotted at a party honoring music mogul Clive Davis with his longtime girlfriend Rihanna before the reported incident.
Sources close to the Grammys have reported that both Chris Brown and Rihanna have canceled their performances and have not showed up for pre-planned red carpet interviews.
While authorities have not confirmed that Rihanna was involved, sources believe Rihanna was the 'woman' in the car.
** Update: Rihanna's performance has been canceled, soul singer Al Green will replace her. Justin Timberlake is rumored to be replacing Chris Brown.
