Gospel/Inspirational artist Kirk Franklin led an early list of Grammy Award winning artists Sunday.
In a pre-telecast ceremony, co-hosted by Wayne Brady, Franklin won awards for his latest album "The Fight Of My Life" and inspirational song "Help Me Believe".
Stellar Award-winning Gospel star Yolanda Adams accepted Franklin's awards just after giving Mary Mary an award for Best Gospel Performance. (see full list of Gospel Winners below)
Mary Mary thanked long-time collaborator Warren Campbell for assisting with the Grammy-winning hit "Get Up".
Gospel recording artists The Blind Boys of Alabama, Toby Mac, and Cece Winans also picked up awards.
In addition to Gospel winners, electronic artist Daft Punk picked up two awards, including Best Dance Recording and Best Electronic/Dance Album, beating out fellow nominees Madonna and Rihanna.
