The highly anticipated fourth season of Making the Band 4 is less than a month away -- but this time they'll be even more changes and questions answered than ever before.
One of the questions is whether Danity Kane and Day 26 will end up like Diddy's now defunct groups Dream and Tha Band ?
In a recently released preview (watch below), both groups, Danity Kane and Day 26, question their next step in the music business while reliving past Making the Band moments.
"If you go back in history. Tha Band dismantled. Danity Kane didn't last. So what category you think they're putting Day 26 in ?," says Robert of Day 26.
In addition to Day 26 members questioning their future, rumors that Danity Kane has been completely dismantled have been riding throughout the blogosphere with Dawn appearing to be pushing a solo album for release later this year.
According to MTV, all questions, theories and rumors will be put to rest Feb. 12 when the new season makes its usual prime time premiere.
Will you be tuning in for the new season ?

I'm super sad that there is no more DK..but i think Day 26 will be fine..but then i saw the previews for the new MTB and now i really don't know, now..
I agree alot with Sam also, it's a shame because all the DK girls had the ability to sing lead, which is not common in groups like the PSD! Not since the days of EnVogue and later Destiny's Child, had any girl group had all its members who could vocally lead and harmonize! Donnie would've and still would be the best bet! No other white male is selling, not David Cook, not Archeuletta, not Jesse, not Jon B.,not Nick, not Robin, etc...He could still make it! Artists do struggle after BadBoy, look at how long its taken Jadakiss to finally "appear to be" on his way to have the same high sales as Young Jeezy and T.I., although he was with The Lox!
Sam, i agree with alot u are saying but. Mary J Blige was never on BadBoy, and her 1st two albums made her (Three if you count the 411 Remix). No artist who leaves BadBoy made it bigger than when they were on there. All i know is that Faith's 1st week Numbers for her last album were the highest she ever had but to date it hasn't sold more than her BadBoy Albums. I Could be wrong here.
Day 26 will do fine: theirs no direct competition at this time! Jagged Edge and Pretty Ricky's labels won't release their new music and Brutha can't get their sales up despite them being just as good...or better! Dawn will struggle as a solo act due to heavy R&B diva competition(Jhud, Beyonce, Mary J.,etc.) Danity Kane will struggle as well, even under a new name and a new image! Aundrea had the better voice for the past 3 seasons, but will she be able to hang with Kelly Clarkson and Leona Lewis as a solo act?..a strong maybe!! Donnie could've made it! His competition, Justin T. is not due to release new music and Robin Thicke and Jesse McCartney are receiving moderate airplay; but Diddy doesn't believe in him! **No one makes it longterm on Badboy, solo or group!*** To add further names to what Robert said: Faith, the Lox, New Edition and Mary J. left as well, and she went on to much higher success without him! It will be curious to see how everything unfolds when the show returns!
I think this is ridiculous DIddy needs to put dk back together and day 26 is not breaking up
