Lil Wayne Gone Rock: Locks In April 'Rebirth' Album

Lil Wayne was serious when he said he was going rock and now he's got a release date and album title to back that up.
According to MTV News, Lil Wayne will release his first rock album titled "Rebirth" in April !
Showcasing his guitar skills and new sound, Lil Wayne says the album is the "birth of a new beginning."
"This is something brand new."
While Lil Wayne agrees that "some people are not gonna like this," he says doing a rock album was the next step and is not experimental.
News of Lil Wayne's "Rebirth" follows his near record breaking success in 2008 with the album "Tha Carter III" which became the year's best selling album.
"Rebirth" hits stores and online retailers April 7.
