Faith Evans, already excited about her son's role in 'Notorious', is ready to step into her own sitcom.
"I developed a synopsis for a sitcom which is based loosely on my life," Evans told VH1.
"The show alludes to the fact that I was married and lost my husband."
While Evans has appeared on several primetime series including Half & Half (UPN) and Entourage, the singer's foray into this particular sitcom would be her first consistent run.
Ensuring the as-yet-untitled series is not about her husband being an artist Evans says "It's about that I took a break from the music
business when I lost my husband, then I went back after I got offered
[a gig performing] at a five-star hotel and casino. Then my kids are
starting to sneak into my shows."
Evans will also star in the program.
