Fantasia Barrino Saves Home From Being Auctioned

R&B singer Fantasia Barrino has something to smile about. The former American Idol winner reportedly struck a deal with her financial institution to save her North Carolina home from being auctioned.
Fantasia purchased the six-bedroom house in Charlotte, North Carolina in March 2007 for $1.3 million, but she ran into financial trouble because she was forced to borrow more than $68,000 from Broward Energy Partners to pay her taxes.
However, she reportedly failed to keep up with her repayments and the local Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office was due to auction off Barrino's mansion to help reimburse the company.
The property was due to go up for sale on Monday (Jan .12), but the auction was called off after Barrino's lawyers reached a settlement deal with bosses of Broward Energy Partners.
Details of the negotiations have not been made public.

Fantasia needs to hire her a financial advisor. Since she did report she was illiterate.
this is the dumbest ish i have ever heard...these new artists go out and buy stuff they havbe never had before and then we are supposed to feel bad for them? WTF...how do you go fromt he projects to a million dollar + mansion?...it doesn't take a genius to decide to buy a 200k home in a nice sub division and call it a day... 200k in Charlotte buys a LOT of home...what a dunce
