Prince Offers Up 'Triple Purple' in 2009, Says I Didn't Vote In November

Prince is plotting a big year.

According to E!, Prince is planning to release three new albums in 2009.

Likely to be released through an exclusive deal with a major retailer, the new efforts, one of which titled "MPLSOUND," finds the "Purple Rain" star experimenting with new ways of recording.

In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times at his Hollywood Hills home, Prince also talked up new tunes by his prot�g�, Bria Valente, and mentioned that he didn't vote in November because of his religion.

Release dates have not been set for any of the singer's forthcoming projects.
