2008 featured some of the most hilarious, shocking, jaw-dropping, and even sheer reckless moments so why not take a look back. In fact we've got 20 memorable moments for you.
With just ten days to go until history takes a turn in 2009, we'll take you through Reckless Souls, a countdown featuring everyone from Dru Hill to R. Kelly and everything in between.
While Usher had moved on when the clock struck twelve in January, television networks, radio stations, bloggers and most fans had not moved past his marriage to Tameka Foster or the other much-talked-about events that ensued in his personal life.
On May 27, 2008, Usher hit up MTV's then hit show TRL (Total Request Live) to promote his recently released album "Here I Stand". After talking about the project for a few minutes Usher broke into a speech about his wife, the rumors, his mother and all of the negative reports issued by the press.
Getting as close as possible to the camera Usher at one point said "I'm tired of people continuing to talk so much trash about me, my wife and my mother."

The R&B singer ended up re-hiring his mom in 2008 while also welcoming his second child into the world in December.
Unfortunately the Recording Academy did not take a liking to Usher's new album "Here I Stand". He is reportedly hitting the studio with Ne-Yo to work on another album for release sometime in 2009-2010.

it's nice when someone takes care o there kids an wife
and that what messed him up, his mouth, get in the studio and make better music, cause you and Beyonce forget, there younger singers out now(Chris Brown, Rihanna) that are stepping there game up and at y'all door step, wait for y'all to trip.(you see Beyonce say stepped hers up)
His album was mediocre at best ( i now use it as a coaster or somethin) and flaunting Tamika more than the album wasnt the best look...I'm not sure Neyo is either. Why these so called artists scared to work with new talent. aint that part of being artistic
