Issuing an update on his forthcoming album, Ginuwine says he took some much needed time off to figure out where the direction of his as-yet-untitled project was going to go.
"I have been touring and working on various projects the last couple of years and pondering what I wanted my next moves to be. I didn’t want to rush into just doing what a label told me to do but rather take time to be creative and find music and projects that I have creative control over."
According to the "Differences" singer, RL of Next, The Clutch and Johnta Austin have contributed to the as-yet-untitled effort.
As previously reported, Ginuwine's anticipated seventh studio album is due in stores April 2009.

I love Ginuwine he is so fine and I can't wait till this album comes out. This is definetly what R&B needs I'm so sick of the Dream and T-Pain.His last album was so damn bad he needs Timbaland they are a great collabo.Maybe Timbaland can help R.L who hasn't been around for almost 10 years last time I saw him was on that reality show Brutha, he's still fine. And maybe T. can help Johnta on a future album.
GINUWINE & TIMBALAND CAN MAKE THIS ALBUM WORK BECAUSE 'G IS EVERYTHING BUT A PERFOMER HE IS AMAZING.GINUWINE JUST NEEDS SONGS THAT MAKE PEOPLE WANNA DANCE ALL DAY LONG, LOVESONGS THAT MAKES THE LADIES CRY THEIR HEARTS OUT.THERE ALSO GOT TO BE MORE MUSICVIDEOS FOR HIS ALBUM TO MAKE SUCESS.'G IS THE KING.PRODUCERS & WRITERS U BETTER GET UR GAME ON, BECUASE 'G WANTS TO MAKE A HUGH IMPACT FOR 2009.IT BETTER BE GOOD.....HOLLER
Definitely. I agree with sam all the way, he said everything that i would say. Sexy Ginuwine ♥
wow.
Ginuwine has always deserved the same amount of success that Usher has received and I don't blame him, or Omarion, Jagged Edge, etc...for leaving Sony! Sony has not had mainstream success with R&B males and we wonder why Maxwell's project is continously delayed plus, we thought MJ was right for calling Sony heads, bias! Hopefully, Timbaland can add some of those Justin-laced tracks to G's project; that really should've been for G anyway! Props to RL for putting his ego aside to produce G, because like G, RL and Next shouldv'e had longer success in music as well! "Wifey, Too Close and I still love you" were the jams back then and those songs still receive heavy urban clubplay to this day! Best of luck to G and RL!!
