Ginuwine Taps Timbaland, Eyes New Single For 2009 Album

R&B singer Ginuwine is on the comeback trail and according to his Myspace is wrapping up the follow up to 2005s "Back II Da Basics".

Ginuwine's as-yet-untitled album comes under a new deal with Notifi Records.

While a release date has not been revealed, sources close to the singer expect the album to hit stores in April with the first single hitting radio in January.

The former "In Those Jeans" singer worked with Timbaland recently.

Timbaland joins a bevy of top R&B songwriters and producers working on the highly anticipated effort including Bryan Michael Cox, Oak, The Clutch and Johnta Austin.

Ginuwine's as-yet-untitled album is due April 2009.

Best of luck to Ginuwine! His music has always been good and he desrves the same amount of success that Usher has received over the years: which Sony couldn't give him or Omarion so I don't blame them for leaving! Sony has not promoted an "R&B male" to superstar status in years and we thought MJ was crazy for calling their executives prejudice years ago!
