Teairra Mari Drops 'Built' Record: Says Can't Hold Me Down

R&B singer Teairra Mari has revealed what may be a second single entitled "Built For This," a record that looks to be addressed to Jay-Z and any other naysayers who attempted to stop the talented songbird.
On track to release her sophomore album after a series of highly-publicized interviews regarding being dropped from Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella imprint and events that followed, Teairra Mari blazes ahead with "Built For This," a sign that talent and perseverance will provail in the end.
Singing "They pushed my back up against the wall. Did everything to make me fall. I'm still up and running can't tell me I ain't built for this," Teairra Mari makes it known she's not going anywhere.
Taking on her critics one last time, Teairra says: "I heard em' say I wouldn't make it." "I'm not supporting past, I got the starring role."
Teairra Mari's forthcoming project "Round 2" is slated for release early 2009.
