Marvin Sapp Marvin Sapp, known for the mega-hit "Never Would Have Made It," has made it at BETJ.

According to the network, Sapp has won the first ever BET J Virtual Award for Best Gospel Artist.

Sapp's win follows his win at the BET Awards over the summer where he won "Best Gospel Artist".

Speaking of BET J, according to BV Buzz, Bobby Jones' "Let's Talk Church" series has found a new home.

After premiering in 2002 on BET, the show was seemingly shelved and never heard from --- at least till now.

Jones will host the revamped show on BET J in addition to the new season of "Bobby Jones Gospel" on BETJ's sister network BET.

While BET has dabbled in several talk show series including 'Meet The Faith' and 'Oh Drama,' Jones says his series will tackle issues that relate to the church, some that are shocking. "There are a number of shows that take on controversial issues but none do it in a manner that puts church in the forefront of that issue, what flows from that discussion is often surprising and may shock your belief system," says Jones.

Clark Sisters For TV One

Oftentimes our legends are overlooked, especially in Gospel music, when it comes to mainstream recognition. TV One is looking to change things up with a new series entitled "Unsung," a series that will shed light on the lives of legends including The Clark Sisters.

Hosted by R&B singer Al B. Sure, 'Unsung' kicks off Nov. 30 at 10pm ET with Phyllis Hyman followed by the Clark Sisters on Dec. 1.

According to Jeff Meier, TV One Senior VP and co-executive producer of the series, "Unsung" was created to celebrate core urban favorites whose body of work has stood the test of time but whose journeys may be less well known.

"We wanted to answer [questions like] why did these artists remain mostly unsung to the world at large?"

Expect reflections from the artists and families in each series.

'Unsung - The Clark Sisters' will air this Monday, Dec. 1 on TV One.
