Whitney Houston is reportedly at the center of a family dispute.
According to court papers, obtained by TMZ, Houston's step mother is lining up a court battle with the singer over money she claims is owed from her late husband's will.
When the "I Will Always Love You" singer's father died in 2003, Houston was named the beneficiary but allegedly agreed to split the estate with her stepmother Barbara Houston.
In a lawsuit filed in May, Barbara alleges her stepdaughter was
instructed to use her father's $1 million life insurance policy to
pay off the mortgage on his residence and hand over the title to the
property and any remaining funds.
Whitney Houston has denied the claim.

This is the first I heard from it and second of all, the step mom's was named Peggy. If this is true, why would she wait 6 years to do it? It sounds fishy. I do not like it when they hurt Whitney. Leave her alone. She has had much struggles and is getting her life back and everyone keeps bringing her down. Stop it. Let Whitney be and hope the voice drops the album soon.
