Patti Labelle Releases 'Saucy' Cookbook and Video

Even though she's known for laying down some serious vocals on hits like "Lady Marmalade," R&B/Soul legend Patti Labelle can thrown down in the kitchen as well.

Titled 'Recipes For The Good Life,' Patti Labelle's third cookbook in a line of popular and critically acclaimed cookbooks is now in stores.

The book consists of over 200 full-color pages, features dozens of photos and over 100 of LaBelle's favorite comfort food and healthy recipes, and ties in personal anecdotes and stories from LaBelle's childhood through her present-day culinary experiences.

In addition to the book, Patti Labelle has also unleashed an instructional cooking DVD, titled "In the Kitchen with Miss Patti," featuring over 90 minutes with Labelle in the kitchen and in her own dining room.

"Sharing my family recipes, telling stories of my childhood and letting the cameras into my own home are very personal matters, so the book and DVD are special to me and I wanted to make sure they were done well," stated LaBelle.

"I'm also so excited to expand the food line to include the blended seasonings. They're products that I use in my own kitchen, they're all natural, they're flavorful and they're fierce - just like me!"

Recipes for the Good Life and In the Kitchen with Miss Patti are available through Safeway, Simon & Schuster and several other outlets where books are sold.

I AM TRING TO CONTACT PATTIE LABELLE REGUARDING AND OLD ALBUM NAMED FLAME. MY SON IS GETTING MARRIED ON 1/2/10 COMING UP AND A SONG ON THIS ALBUM IS CALLED YOU ARE MY SOLID GROWN. I CAN NOT FIND THIS ALBUM ANYWHERE. I HAD THE CASSETTE TAPE; AND IT IS MASSED UP BECAUSE I PLAY IT SO MUCH. DO YOU THINK YOU CAN TELL ME HOW TO GET A COPY PLEASE, PLEASE? I WOULD LOVE TO PLAY THIS FOR HIS NEW WIFE AND HIM. I HOPE THIS MESSAGE WILL GET TO PATTIE OR SOMEONE THAT COULD HELP ME. I AM A GREAT FAN OF PATTIE.
