Obama Inspires Katt Williams 'Date A President' Show

Barack Obama's inspiring campaign gave recently jailed comedian Katt Williams the push he needed to perform this week.

"I'm hurting cause I said I wouldn't' go back to jail...Every time I see a white person, it reminds me of something. 'Oh, we got a black president."

Talking to the NY Post, Williams says Obama helped him go straight to a sold out show after being released on gun charges.

Performing with Chris Rock at Carnegie Hall Thursday, Williams literally gave fans the shirt off his back.

Handing over his shirt, coat, tie and shoes, Williams took pictures with his fans wearing only only an undershirt, jeans and socks.

Williams' previously joked that American's should "Date A President" instead of electing a new president in light of the last eight years.

"I feel like didn't we just get out of a...relationship."

"Maybe we don't need a president right now, can we be single as country for while ?"

"Maybe date a president and see how that work out for a couple months.."

Williams' later said "Barack Obama is the one. Absolutely"

Williams is set to release a new DVD entitled "It's Pimpin' Pimpin'" Nov. 11.
