Jennifer Lopez Inks 'First Look' With NBC/Universal

Jennifer Lopez has something extra to smile about this week.
According to NBC/Universal, the Hollywood star has inked a two year exclusive television development deal.
"Jennifer Lopez is a multifaceted superstar and we are thrilled to be
in business with her," Silverman said in a statement. "NBC has been
fortunate to have worked with her previously with her music specials,
and now this first-look deal gives us an opportunity to explore a
variety of projects which will result in some outstanding television."
Lopez and producing partner Simon Fields will produce a variety of different television series projects under the deal.
"Universal Media Studio is the perfect home for Nuyorican, and I
look forward to a successful, creative partnership," added Lopez.
Founded in 2003, Nuyorican Productions develops and produces feature
films and television series geared to both mainstream and Latino
audiences.
