R&B veteran and recent Georgia Music Hall of Fame inductee Keith Sweat might be earning some inspiration for another song -- this time about his ex-wife and the hit reality show "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."
Sweat's ex-wife Lisa Wu Hartwell is reportedly upset with the R&B singer because he would not allow his two teenage sons to appear on the hit show.
"He didn't sign a waiver" says Hartwell, who is a model/actress and the mother of Sweat's boys Jordan and Justin.
"He's like, Lisa, it's nothing personal, I really don't know how they're going to edit and if their going to make you look crazy. I just don't want the kids to be, you know, overexposed or anything."
According to E!, Hartwell doesn't buy Sweat's explanation.
"It could have been a Disney show and I don't think he would have signed it."
As they say the show must go on, Hartwell is still appearing on the new season which features select Atlanta area housewives, however, she appears as having one child -- her one-year-old son E.J. with her husband, NFL player Ed Hartwell.
At press time no statement or response had been issued from Keith Sweat.
Lisa is a big cocaine user and that is why she lost custody to her childeren at that time. Keith Sweat proved that in court. Handle your biz Keith. Lisa had mental problems and I'm very serious about that statement, not trying to funny at all. I hope she get's professional help.

You people dont know Mr. Sweat.. He is a rotten Dad.. he wants you to think he has his kids best intrest at heart but never talks about or even takes care of most of his children. My 16yr old Daughter is missing and has alot of mental issues because her father abandoned her..the truth needs to be told about Keith Sweat.. and why dont he protect his other children which is many the way he protects those two boys...

I feel that Keith did the right thing. I don't know the history of the marriage, but I am a mother of two sons, a show like that, kids should not be exposed. So that shows me what type of man and father Keith Sweat is. I am of course his #1 fan, at least I feel I am, and also my co-workers, friends and family say that I am. But back to the story at hand, Keith keep up the good work as a concern father, our sons and daughters need more fathers like you....see you soon at your concerts.

I am a non-biased individual, and I can understand both Lisa's and Keith's response to the publicity. These families now a days have to be careful exposing their public life to the public, there can be some negative consequences(Look at NeNe). With that same token, I don't know Keith personalyl and so he could just be not signing the waiver out of spite. You know how yall men do... Jealous and all!

I dont know her personally but know someone who does and also have meet several people who know both her and keith and before you judge someone you need to know there background I think she is far from a gold digger in fact is down to earth and works very hard however Keith Sweat is a woman beater and she is not the first baby momma who has had to put up with his mess so again do your research before you judge someone

Did you watch the show Monica, she wants her husband to RETIRE.. Lisa turly cares about her husband well being and health issues.. money is not an object for them.. Keith has kids fine every dog has there day, the boys will grow up and decide what they want to do and with whoever.. I do not blame keith sweat for not allowing his children to be a part of the show. I wouldn't want my kids to do it either. Lisa is an adult it's her perogative, but the boys father says no, so its no. I hope he doesn't change his mind.

I don't know about all that custody stuff because I don't know their background, however, I do know it is often very rare that a man gets custody over the mother. With that being said, I'm appalled that she has only made the audience think she only has one child. I'm sure her two other kids feel some sort of way about that, as do I!!!

Monica you can tell that Lisa is a good mother and a good hearted person, it wouldn't have hearted them to be on the show, come on known be serious. And as far as her not being happy for husband again you don't know what you are talking about to see you husband get hurt, you and him have a bond, knowing that any giving time he could be hurt is devasting, so missy know what your talking about, because you should never take a mother child away from them. Lisa needs to let go parents protect their children and don't need any extra drama is their life (children) It hard enough for them. It is not about glamour please she is a money hungry and wants attention, Just when the husband call about the new contract. She is not happy for him all he is trying to do is work and take care of his family, does it really matter where? selfish needs to grow up and be supported.
