'N Sync's JC Chasez Tapped For 'Cowboy' Flick

Mario Van Peebles' has tapped former 'N Sync star, JC Chasez for an upcoming action thriller.

Slated to begin production late this fall, "Kerosene Cowboys," an action thriller about an elite Navy attack squadron will feature Chasez as one of the pilots in the squadron.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story is based on a novel by Randy Arrington and follows the rough-riding and hard-living pilots of an elite Navy attack squadron. Gigandet will star as a hot-shot pilot, West plays his one-time best friend-turned-nemesis, while Cook will play an investigative journalist and Gigandet's love interest.

Cam Gigandet, Shane West and Rachael Leigh Cook have also signed on to appear in the flick, directed by Mario Van Peebles for Svarog-Afterburner Films.
