Update: Ne Yo Plans To Use R.Kelly Money Wisely, Singer Admits To 'Misjudging' Another Celeb

Providing a gentlemanly answer to a question on many minds, Ne Yo says he plans to use his six figure judgement wisely by investing.
The "Miss Independent" singer/songwriter was awarded $700,320 in damages for being kicked off of the R. Kelly headlined "Double Up Tour" last year.
Claiming to have no animosity towards the "12 Play 4th Quarter" star, Ne-Yo told the New York Daily News "I don't hate R. Kelly, it wasn't even really a feud. It's all in the past.
So what does he plan to do with the money ?
Ne-Yo says "I think I'm going to use the money and open up a club or a cigar bar in Atlanta."
While mulling over the club or cigar bar, Ne-Yo admits that he has to stop judging people prematurely.
Recalling a recent collaboration with Michael Bolton, Ne-Yo says "I really gotta stop judging books by their cover. I was expecting him to be really up tight. But he wasn't! He was so relaxed, cool and down to earth."
The "Year of the Gentleman" star has had his share of misjudging other singers. Earlier this year, Ne-Yo issued an apology to pop star Lindsay Lohan for doubting her musical abilities.
Ne-Yo and Bolton spent several hours at a Los Angeles studio, recording "Call My Name" for Bolton's new album reports PEOPLE.
Ne-Yo's third studio effort "Year of the Gentleman" is available through stores and online retailers now.
