R Kelly Breaks Silence: Singer To Set Record Straight Via BET

Grammy Award winning R&B singer R.Kelly is set to speak out for the first time since being acquitted of 14 counts of child pornography this summer via an exclusive interview with BET.

Titled "R.Kelly Speaks," BET's Toure' sits down with the multi-platinum recording artist for his first and possibly last interview to discuss his long legal battle leading up to the not-guilty verdict.

The verdict came six years after the R&B superstar was first charged with videotaping himself having sex with an underage girl who prosecutors believe may have been as young as 13 at the time.

Slated to air Tuesday, September 16th at 10pm ET, Kelly will answer the hard-hitting questions surrounding his recent case, career, critics and more, hoping to close this major chapter in his life-once and for all.

The "Hairbraider" singer will also speak openly about his feelings during and after the trial, the fans he lost along the way, his brother who openly expressed concern about the superstar's sexual age preference and more.

Kelly's exclusive interview follows a series of BET helmed specials including Hip Hop star T.I.'s first interview after being convicted of possession charges.

19 years old is legal, so what makes him saying he has 19 year old friends such a big deal? Because its R Kelly!?!?!? He was innocent and is doing NOTHING wrong!!!

I love Kellz. I hate I missed this interview. I'm so glad he was found innocent on all the charges. Now he can finally move on. People need move on and leave him the hell alone. If you turned on him, you were never really a fan in the first place, so you won't be missed. He's still going platinum and selling out tours, so it's all good lol. R. Kelly, I love you baby. Hurry up and drop that 4th Quarter album.

i do like the story we awit him i personally want to learn from is story happy for my guy een acquitted i really happy because this is somebody of R.Kelly who let me know more in life planning i think this is a proof of who he his.
