Beyonce gives new meaning to the phrase "cops up" in the video for her new single "If I Were A Boy."
The R&B star whose album is due in November donned a full police uniform with a taser and handcuffs in tow for "If I Were A Boy" which is being shot this week.
According to sources on the set, Beyonce rocked Harlem yesterday when she filmed portions of the video on West 119th Street near Lenox Avenue.
Accompanied by her on screen police partner, the curvy R&B star descended the steps of a brown stone and climbed into a patrol car during the shoot which is being helmed by famed director Jake Nava who worked with the star on "Beautiful Liar."
As previously reported on Singersroom, Beyonce is expected to release two singles on October 7th including "If I Were A Boy" and "Single Ladies." The "Obession" star's album is due in stores November 18th via Music World/Columbia.

That's TASER not Teaser.
50,000 volts direct to the central nervous system that's killed over 370 people. Not exactly non-lethal and not exactly a weapon a responsible artist would tout as normal course of the cop uniform, considering the lawsuits and controversy.
I can't wait to see B's new video!! I know B's new album will be out of this world great just like Brandy's will!
umm just so you know it was Sophie Muller that directed "Ring The ALarm" Jake Nava directed CIL, Baby boy and most recently Beautiful Liar.
Oh and Ciara is not the first nor the last to play with the idea of gender norms. So get over it, most likely it will be 10 times better then the boring Ciara song.
John legend currently has a song called Green Light guess who else has the exact same title on their last album.....BEYONCE. Guess who has a song called Take A Bow before Rihanna released her Take A Bow...Leona Lewis. We can do this all day. My point is build a bridge and get over it.
