Fat JoeFat Joe and reggaeton star Daddy Yankee are reportedly at odds, but this time it has nothing to do with their music, instead the two are battling over presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain.

Challenging Yankee to a debate this week, Hip Hop star Fat Joe says "If he debates me about politics he'll never talk another word about a politician for the rest of his life."

Joe and Yankee's battle began last month when Yankee known for hits like "Gasolina" and "Rompe" suprisingly endorsed Republican candidate John McCain by saying "McCain is the kind of man whose promises you can actually believe in. I'll support him till the end."

Fat Joe, Yankee's nemises and Obama supporter took those words hard and responded by saying that Yankee is "disgusting...a sellout, [and] ignorant on the issues."

Despite being called out by Fat Joe, Yankee has not confirmed whether he will debate the Hip Hop star prior to the November election. The star did however respond to fans and critics who have blasted him for endorsing McCain, Yankee says "I don't care who I piss off. This is about my ideals, not about making friends."

I agree with DMC. I can tell that there are a lot of uneducated people on this board (hint Yuldekys). If you knew anything about history Yuldekys (which you don't) you would know that the parties changed during the 1960s. The Democratic party of 1800s is not the Democratic party of the 1960s and now. It is the same for the Republican Party. It is plain to see who really doesn't KNOW NOTHING ABOUT POLITICS. YOU!!!!

  2. sam says:

Daddy yankee does not owe obama a vote. Just because Daddy Yankee is a minority he does not have to vote for another minority. this is america, fat joe need to respect other peoples decision. I personally believe America will be much better of with Obama as a president

  3. Yuldekys says:

Fat Joe needs to challenge himself to a DIET. He is a fat slob that knows NOTHING about politics. Get a life and stop singing the Democratic praise song, when the Dems were the ones who kept negroes in chains. Let DY do what he feels. Fat Joe should look in the mirror to see how DISGUSTING he looks. Fat pig, looking like a Boricua Uncle Fester.

  4. Afi K. James says:

Who cares about these two musicians and these two political parties, there is no difference between the two parties

  5. DMC says:

about his ideals my arse. Anyone who saw that endorsement could easily see he was there for a photo op, which meant he was there on money terms. He didn't even know where he was or why people were there. It's in the video that someone had to come up to him and tell him what to say. What a joke. I'm glad Fat Joe blasted him. And I hope yankee is stupid enough to get embarrassed in a debate about issues he has no clue about, and doesn't work on.
