Jesse McCartney Still In Shock Over First #1 Hit

Currently on tour with Jordin Sparks, pop singer Jesse McCartney still remains in shock over his first #1 single �Leavin,� the latest single from his R&B flavored album �Departure.�

�I'm still in shock. It's like going to a Yankee game and catching a foul ball hit by Derek Jeter� says McCartney who contrary to reports is not related to Paul McCartney.

McCartney has felt at home with latest album �Departure,� a mix of R&B and pop. Growing up on his parents� 45 collection McCartney recently told the New York Post �It had all the classics - James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson. When I got a little older, I started discovering music on my own, and I loved Craig David's 'Born To Do It.'�

McCartney�s �Leavin� is currently atop the Pop 100 chart and sits comfortably on the Mainstream Top 40 chart.

Hello this guy does it nice for me eversince Beautiful soul, I just saw jesse's Talent and new one day things wud turn around the right way, He's my best I guess.
