Cassie Regrets Role In Step Up 2, Calls Film 'A Mess'

R&B/Pop singer Cassie says she regrets not taking acting classes before taking a role in the 2008 film “Step Up 2 : The Streets,” which resulted in what the singer calls “a mess.”
Posing on the cover of the latest issue of Complex Magazine, Cassie says she jumped at the chance to score her first major movie role, but now wishes she had waited. “I don't think I took enough classes. Reacting to five other people is completely different than being with an acting coach.”
Recalling the embarrassment of almost running over a fellow cast member when asked to drive during filming, Cassie says “I'm a horrible driver and my first day on set I had to drive a car and act at the same time. I was thinking about too many things at once... I almost ran over the girl that I was talking to. It was just a mess.”
Cassie is due to release her sophomore album early next year.

Cassie is beautiful[no homo] but NOT ONLY DO U NEED A ACTING COACH..U NEED A PROFESSIONAL[REALLY PROFESSIONAL] VOCAL TEACHER AS WELL. I love ya girl, but I'm tired of hearing those "whispers" that you call singing in all ur music. You got talent..for modeling. And maybe singing could be on ur hands too if you'd just GROW UP and stop using the "young and stage fright" excuse everytime somebody questions ur stage and cd performances. It's really getting old. And you being Aaliyah?!? NEVER THAT. I'm telling you as someone who actually wants to see you grow..you need some more training besides just for acting. But modeling, we all know you stay beautiful. I 'm guessing that's where your extra 3 G's is comin' from..besides ur "hunny bun" Diddy keepin u laced up at every party or even he hosts.
i personally think cassie should just keep singing because she really has a great singing voice
