Rumors of a parting of ways with Bad Boy have been plaguing R&B group B5 for a few weeks, according to the groups management the rumors just might be true.
B5, accurately named after the group consisting of five brothers Dustin, Kelly, Bryan, Carnell, and Patrick Breeding, hence “Breeding 5,” signed with Diddy just over six years ago. Although the burgeoning group had a successful run with tours such as the 2005 leg of the Scream Tour, endorsements and two albums, their singles failed to reach crossover/mainstream success.
B5's latest album, 2007's “Don’t Talk, Just Listen” spawned two singles including a collaboration with Bow Wow on “Hydrolics.” The album itself, failed to move on the charts despite the success of “Hydrolics,” only pushing 19,000 copies in it’s first week.
Fast forward to today... After weeks of rumors swirling about the groups next album B5's management team, Jamm Entertainment, released a statement which reads “It is not a rumor, B5 has left Bad Boy Records after 6 ˝ years. After several conversations, Diddy and Exec’s of Atlantic and Warner Music, reluctantly released B5 to continue their career elsewhere. We want to thank Diddy, Harve, Kevin Lyles, Craig Kallman, Julie G, Eric Wong and all the staff for their belief and support with B5 through the years.”
Although there has been no confirmation from Bad Boy at this time, the group has been removed from the label’s website and Myspace network of artists that includes Danity Kane and Day 26.
According to the recent release, B5 is currently in the studio working on their third album.
B5's Dustin, Kelly and Patrick Breeding are also set to join Angie Stone and R&B singer/actor Mishon in the upcoming Warner Bros. film “Nicetown.”

lol oo..because we had a conference call with all the B5 street teams...Ms.G and Jenn were just giving us new updates about B5 and what we need to do to help promote there new stuff and also it gave us a chance to ask questions and give our opinions and feedback and stuff like that

Yeah there are alot of B5 haters out there...but as for the info i had a conference call with ms.g and Jenn yesturday and theres going to be some new changes and stuff...and yeah i think the Dance junky's is going to be postpond, until further notice. Hopefully we can B5 more fans and stuff. But i think B5 should be known all over North America Both the States and Canada cuzz there is a lot of fans in Canada too and i think it will help B5 popular wise

wait nevermind i do got something! B5 is launching their very first "Dance Junkys" dance class on Valentines day sat. Feb 14th in Atlanta! 4 Hours with your favorite guys teaching you personally their special technique of Dance and groove that you can only get from B5! There is limited space for class so a certain number of tickets will be sold! tickets go on sale Tuesday Feb 3rd with all the information!

oh and their are some people hatin on b5. i have been on a couple of sites that talk about b5 and what they have in store for 2009 and some people left comments like "b5 is done they aint popular enough." and like "b5 music isnt good enough to be out." oh and let me tell you i got all over their a**es i gave those b****es a piece of my mind i was sooooooooooo mad it aint even funny. they just mad bcuz b5 is hot and they aint. b5 is the s*** and their music is clean and better than any other artist out there so they can take all that hate and shove it up their a**

wow i really havent heard anything about b5. i mean b5 themselves arent say anything. cuz on the before b5 cd that i just got i dont know if you have it or heard about it but they talk like every other song and at the end of the cd they just say that their coming out with a new album. no future plans or nothing.

i found the info on the bad boy blog. it doesnt really say much about the movie or b5 it just says that the first part of filiming starts march 8 in philly.
