Stage Fight Ends Nelly Furtado’s Concert, Report

Nelly FurtadoA concert played by R&B/Pop singer Nelly Furtado in Moscow, Russia was marred by a stage fight after Russian rapper Timati tried to get on stage to perform a planned set with her.

Venue officials reportedly halted Timati from going near Furtado, leading to Nelly's security team becoming involved in an altercation.

The incident quickly descended into a brawl reportedly involving up to 20 people.

Nelly carried on singing to try to divert attention from the fight, which eventually ended with some of the crowd getting covered in blood and Timati losing a tooth.

"I know who was behind it. They will be punished," Timati reportedly said of the incident.

Timati is a huge celebrity in Russia and owns a club and a record label.

An official at the venue said: "We learned at the last moment he was going to perform with Furtado. I gave the order not to let him get on stage."

    Dang, that was awful, but seriously someone should have told the officers and the official venue that their was going to be a surprise guest appearance who to come on stage from the crowd. And boy was Tinati surprised, he got beat up and lost a tooth. I sure hope he's ok and that Nelly Furtado's concert will continue.
