Update: Slim's 'So Fly' Most Added Single At Urban Radio

Slim of the R&B group 112 is on the fast track to earning his first solo hit. The R&B singer who is set to release his debut solo album entitled “Loves Crazy” in September finds his first single “So Fly” climbing the urban radio charts this week.

The new single featuring Yung Joc and Shawty Lo has gained major airplay from radio stations and DJs in New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago and Philadelphia, making it the most added single at urban radio.

Slim, who is an eight time ASCAP award winner, is very excited about the partnership with his label M3 Productions and Asylum. As the first R&B artist signed to Asylum, no one was more pleased to make this happen than the label’s President Todd Moscowitz. “We waited a long time to make a move into R&B, and I couldn’t have found a better partner to do it with then Slim. I’m thrilled to be able to work with someone who I’ve been a fan of for so long.”

As previously reported on Singersroom, Slim’s debut album “Loves Crazy” is slated for release this September featuring hit making production from producers Sean Garrett, Polow Da Don, Track Masters and ODDZ and ENDZ who produced the first single featuring Shawty Lo and Yung Joc.

In addition to the amazing list of producers, Slim has collaborated with former label mate Faith Evans and Hip Hop artists Gucci Mane, C-Murder, Slim Thug, UGK and 8Ball & MJG.

A video for the single “So Fly” directed by Edwin Decena (Jaheim, Plies, Anthony Hamilton) has been shot and should premiere on major networks soon.

In related news, Slim will head out on a promotional tour from mid July to September hitting cities like New York, Chicago, Charlotte and Detroit. Although dates have not been announced the R&B singer will also join the Russ Parr Bus Tour 2008 which usually runs through early fall.
