Run's House Angela Records 'Center of Attention' For New Pastry Sneaker Launch

Angela Simmons of the popular MTV Series “Run’s House” has hit the studio according to recent reports. The daughter of Reverend Run released a new song entitled “Center of Attention” this week signaling the launch of her latest Pastry sneaker “Glam Pie.”
With her sister and business partner, Vanessa Simmons, Angela has set out to promote the new sneaker in a fun and unique way through a variety of channels including a music video and television spots throughout the summer. Produced by Cali producers TrakMatik and Felix Badatua, the free-flowing, bouncy song has been made available on Pastrykicks.com.
Glam Pie is a colorful, fun sneaker with its own "soundtrack." "Wearing Glam Pie will make you the "Center of Attention," says the 20-year-old trendsetter. This kicky addition to the Pastry line, designed by Vanessa and Angela, is a summertime treat for the feet, a key ingredient for warm-weather merriment.
In addition to the song, specially created television commercials will run extensively throughout the summer to introduce Glam Pie. Directed by Bryan Barber (Outkast, Destiny’s Child), they will be energetic, lively spots featuring siblings Vanessa and Angela.
As an appropriate extension of the television commercials, "Center of Attention" will have a music video, also directed by Barber. Created with fun in mind, the video, which was conceived as a gift to Pastry fans, will highlight the song's playful sound and festive attitude.
