The much-talked-about Faith Evans “tell all” book is finally set to make it’s debut in August. Revealed earlier this year, the book which is to detail the highs and lows of the R&B singer’s life is also set to shed light on Evans’ controversial relationship with The Notorious B.I.G.
Although Evans’ has been quiet for the most part about the upcoming novel, she does say “My journey has been complicated on many levels. And since I am always linked to BIG, there are a lot of misconceptions about who I really am” of the memoir.
From the rumors of an affair with west coast icon Tupac to B.I.G’s rumored trysts with Lil’ Kim, Evans’ book is expected to in some ways close the chapter on years of heated debate about what really went on behind closed doors. In the release for the book the singer says “BIG never got a chance to tell his story. It's been left to others to tell it for him. In making the decision to tell my own story, it means that I've become one of those who can give insight to who BIG really was. But I can only speak on what he meant to me.”
According to Grand Central Publishing the 368 page book entitled Keep the Faith: A Memoir will be released August 29th, it is also available now for pre-order through online retailers.
Evans’ last album “The First Lady”was released in April of 2005 and has since been certified gold.

I read "Keepin the Faith" and it's an easy read. She was straight and forward about many personal things (abortions, affairs, and fights). I respect Faith so much more for opening her personal life to the public and willing to take what comes along with that. For years, others have told their stories and now it's her turn. In every interview, BIG ever did, he never disrespected Faith in any way...though, that song with JZ was tasteless and disrespectful...although, I'm sure he wanted to take that moment back. If you are a Faith Evans fan, like myself, the both is worth it.

When Biggie died Faith was still hise wife which meant that everything went to her, because I don't think there was a will involved, so how do you think that Faith is broke. She is not only a great singer, but also a writer, producer, and does vocal arrangements. I guess a video hoe sucking everyone off is more your speed than a black queen telling her story, right? Got education? My guess is NOT, perhaps you should get some!

Maybe you don't care but people are directed to this site from other locations. People are reading the review for the book , but get to read you ladies calling each other hoe's and calling the writer a crackhead. She's known for her association to BIG and for her voice. No one has to buy it, it's up to those who are interested.
However, coming to this site and reading all this negativity,is just plain mean. Maybe we've got it wrong, may all of you grew up with Faith and know her better than any of the future readers of her book. if you really want to blow some stuff up verbally, go to AOL and get in on that blog about Obama being president. Read some of what white america is saying about black people. Racism is alive and kicking, is may have been napping but it's alive now that this election is going down. Take some of that negative energy and cuss some of those white folks out talking mess on aol. Put your energies and opinions where you can really make a difference.

Why not read the book before you start making judgement against people. I'm definitely going to buy her book because I want to know what she has to say. This should be so much easier to read than the BS that those video vixens put. Who the hell really cares about who slept with who... I don't. Iwill be reading this book for sure. I never really had to much to say about faith but im intrested in reading her story. I no she had alot to over come and it looks like she shes still doing her thing. so GOD BLESS HER !

Faith has benn in the music business for over ten years now, and she was there before she married Biggie. She has great voice, and seems to be a wonderful mother to her kids. If she useing drugs, that is her problem to deal with. I love Faith music. Since she is coming out with a book, I know that I will buy it. Faith have somthing to say that has been on her mind for sometime now. If these video hoe's, hookers, and other people can write a book, well so can FAITH!!

It ashame that she is coming out with a tell all. First it doesnt matter what she says she will always be suspect of cheating with Tupac no matter what there some truth somewhere in that rumor. Second she has kids let that go she ignored it for this long and tried to stay away from it now she wants to talk. Third this is not going to make her sell more records I like faith music even bought all her CDs they all were good and just got poor promotion. Her kids are to old for her to be putting this book out. Let it go I mean truthfully she not going to place most of her fans wish she was at although she very talented because she got a negative stigma on her. she will regret this because the two most important people to respond to version of the truth is both dead so now she can say whatever she wants and no one can really question it. If both or one was alive to respond she might could be taken she given the truth but in her case this is the version she wants everyone to believe.

Faith is FAR from Broke..I suggest u get the book Victory because u don't know the the truth. Everything went to Faith when Big died...She decided to split it with his mom...which she didn't have to do. Big's mom talk very highly of Faith and respect her. The movie and the book is going to finally bring out the truth so check it out and stop Hating on the First Lady.
