Hollywood: Hancock On Track To Hit $100 Million

Will Smith’s summer blockbuster, “Hancock” is turning out to be one the best attended films of the season. The film has brought in well over $41.3 million, and that’s before the 4th of July weekend !
According to the Hollywood Reporter, “Hancock” grossed an estimated $17.1 million Thursday, following the $17.4 million in ticket sales on its first official day in release in 3,965 locations Wednesday and $6.8 million from 3,680 "preview" playdates on Tuesday night.
Inspired by a graphic-novel series, the action pic is well on track to cross $100 million in the U.S. by the end of the weekend.
