Chilli Finds New Energy With Missy On 'Bipolar'

As a member of the iconic R&B/Pop Group TLC, singer Chilli has a huge amount of pressure to overcome as she embarks on her first solo effort entitled ‘Bipolar’ this fall.
Slated for release September 2nd, the singer says “I think it’s just perfect timing for me actually” of her new album which will feature a collaboration with fellow TLC member T-Boz and Hip Hop’s chart-topping female emcee Missy Elliott.
On the album which will be released under her label Tron Musik, Chilli says she looked for a different kind of energy “Because I’m a dancer, when I look at the songs I have to listen to the tracks first and the tracks get me.” With the first single “Dumb, Dumb, Dumb,” written by Cri$tyle whose credits including Mariah Carey’s hit single “Touch My Body” the singer seems to be off to a good start. When asked about her new album in a recent interview with Singersroom, Chilli says “This album is so much fun. If you like to dance, workout, or whatever it is that requires a lot of energy, you’re going to love my album. All of the tracks are just crazy.”
Looking forward to a big year including a promotional tour, the singer admits there is difference between the Chilli of TLC and the solo artist Chilli. “ The difference is that it’s just me, [about] the things that I believe in and the things I write about, it’s the same because I’ve always been true to myself. I think I kind of get to be that a lot more. I don’t have to sit down, conversate about what I really want to do with two other group members.” However, as she moves forward with her solo career Chilli says “T-Boz and I, we’re still a group. I’m always in TLC and TLC is always together.”

Damn harsh comments down there. I always wonder what the person who writes those kind of things looks like. They obviously don't know the English language very well either. Wow that was a pretty harsh comment from "chilli is a s***". anyway,i'd like to see how this goes as far as a solo album. i'm not as excited about it because i'd prefer a TLC album with all of them but we can't bring left-eye back so...anyway we'll see how this goes.
