Update: Ray J Contemplates Legal Action, Says Allegations Are False

As previously reported on Singersroom, R&B singer Ray J was booted from a Washington D.C. area hotel over the weekend after hotel staff discovered the singer�s stash of illegal drugs.

The �Sexy Can I� singer refutes the allegations calling them false and an attempt to gain publicity for the hotel. According to TMZ.com, the singer says "The defamatory statements made by the staff at the Washington D.C. Hyatt accusing me of using the drug 'boat' or PCP are totally false and are an attempt by them to gain publicity for their hotel.�

"These drugs are illegal and since the police were called, I would have been arrested if I had these drugs in my possession. The statements made by the hotel staff are extremely damaging, and I'm contemplating legal action. "

As previously reported, police were called to the scene at the time of the incident, but decided not to file charges against the singer who allegedly had a stash of marijuana and a drug identified as �Boat� in his room.

Hi Katrice I think the samething it is not fair if it was anybody else we would have arrested all because Ray J is famous.

Its kind of not fair because Ray J is a singer I feel if that anybody else they would have got arrested and they would have pressed charged for the drugs. He sould face justice like anybody else would have to an that's my opinion.
