After just one dismally rated episode, the CBS network cancelled its new celebrity-based reality show, “The Secret Talents of the Stars” yesterday.
The reality show, which featured Grammy-nominated R&B singer Brian McKnight and songbird Mya, premiered on Tuesday drawing just 4.6 million viewers according to Nielsen Media Research.
McKnight, who recently appeared in the Broadway hit “Chicago” rounded out the panel of judges which also included Debbie Reynolds and producer Gavin Polone.
Mya, who will make her debut in ‘Chicago’ next month as Velma Kelly, showed off her tap dancing skills on the first and final episode.
Earlier this season, CBS dumped its new musical drama “Viva Laughlin” after just two airings. The network said it would replace “Secret Talents’ for the next two weeks with “48 Hours Mysteries,” then swap in new episodes of the returning legal drama “Shark” for the remainder of the season.

MYa is a beast...!!!!
mya was the best performance of the show. mya's performance was the last performance of the night. the judges felt that her performance was the best. she didnt get enough votes to make it to the finals. everyone who watch clearly knows that hands down mya was the best secret talent of the night. so when she didnt make it to the finals...there is no show! if the best talent didnt make it to the finals no one wants to watch....i didnt have time to get my vote in for mya because you had to vote after her performance..every celebrity got a commercial break after their performance but mya didnt...i didnt get my vote in there wasnt enough time... i think it was unfair of cbs....i hate to pull out the race card. but i dont know! mya may have not made it to the finals but she left a winner her performance was amazing, captivating, she dazzled the whole audience.
