R&B Singer/Producer Mario Winans Accused Of Failing To Pay Child Support

R&B producer MARIO WINANS is reportedly refusing to support his three-year-old son, according to his ex-lover Janell Bennett.
Bennett, who was in an eight-year relationship with Winans before she had her son Jordan, claims she was removed from her family home in Miami, Florida because Winans refused to pay child support. The surprise eviction has apparently left the cocktail waitress "homeless and living with friends on the south side of Chicago".
Two years ago the single mother was caught up in a legal battle with the music producer to prove he was the father of her son. DNA reports came back positive, and Winans was ordered to pay Bennett $4,500 per month in child support.
Bennett tells the New York Post's PageSix, "He hasn't paid me. I just wanted support, and I was on disability and Medicaid and welfare just to have the baby. "He stopped paying last year... by the end of August 2007, I lost the house and moved to Chicago... I just want him to do right by Jordan... It would be so simple for him to call me so we could work something out."
The two met in 1997 through their mutual friend Sean 'Diddy' Combs.
Winans' representatives have made no comment on the allegations.

All of these negative comments and NO ONE really knows what the situation is!!! Nobody is giving him credit for paying until he stopped!!! They both layed down......Get it together people!!! i believe if mario was man enough to lay up wit her he should at least help take care of the baby. but the groupie on the other hand needs to keep her legs closed, get a job, and try to raise her son with her own money and stop depending on the government. It might work out betta DUMB ASS.

wow...that's ashame. all that money he makes, he can't even use it to support his own son.
He should pay he got the young lady pregnant and he was with her for several years and he knows because it's been proven that he's the father,
First of all you don't depend on a man to take care of you and your child. Don't know what her disability is, but maybe she could find a better job since she is waitressing. However, doesn't leave Mario off the hook. He needs to pay his child support. If the court looked at his financial assets and feels he can afford pay this high ridiculous amount then pay it and shut up. Regardless he needs to pay something.
People (men and women) are always looking to get over on celebrities and it's messed up that the system allows it. She doesn't need or should 4,500 a month just because he has the money. She should get something, but if he was an average guy, he would be paying like 200-300 so why he can't pay that now? He works hard for his money and the system is ripping celebs off. He needs to step up and be a man, but I do understand his assumed mindset. She needs to work too.
