R&B singer Rihanna has insisted that all umbrellas be confiscated from fans, in case they injure themselves trying to copy the dance routine to her hit song “Umbrella.”
Andy McDonald, a security guard at the Aberdeen Exhibition Centre, where Rihanna performed on Monday Feb. 3, said: "We were taking precautions over a potential accident. We were told Rihanna's song features dancing with umbrellas on stage. We didn't want the crowd following her actions and someone getting their eye poked out."
The decision follows reports of several injuries caused by umbrella-related incidents during Rihanna's recent European dates.
One fan due to attend one of the singer's upcoming shows said: "I was really looking forward to whipping out my umbrella during the song. I have been practicing the routine for weeks but it has all been for nothing."
Rihanna will perform at the Liverpool Echo Arena tonight Today Feb. 5 before moving on to Bournemouth's Windsor Hall tomorrow Feb. 6.
Her final UK date will be at London's O2 arena on Friday Feb. 7.

i agree with shay and brittney lol but i like Rihanna and it's nice to see that a star cares about her fans i mean a lot of them say the "do care" but dont show it, i give her hand claps for that. If i were in her sh**s i would have done the same thing, making sure my fans were safe in the croud. wanting them to have a good time and not wanting them to get hurt is a good thing , i say all of that to say many ppl should care about ppl and not only C.B not to say anything mean but he would like some one who can spell hehehe lol
