I came in from a xmas program with my daughters and turned on the radio station 95.9 and Avant was on there talking about his new alumba. Now i was going though a painful breakup with the man of my life and they played (YOU!!!) FROM THE NEW CD. THAT MADE ME CALL HIM AND TELL HIM I DON't WANT TO LOSE YOU. Avant u r bad and please go out to get that cd EVERYBODY. Don't sleep on this artist he is very talented and i love him. Terry thank him for getting your lady back. I love you Mr. Moore. Keep that great music coming Avant love ya ALSO!!!

Avant is right, to an extent. No one sounds like him. His voice is unique. But there are other artists that have a unique sound; Erykah Badu, Maxwell, Angie Stone, India Arie, Fantasia, Erik Benet, Beyonce, Mary J Blige, Toni Braxton...just to name a few.

Avant is an amazing artist, I think he sounds like Avant...I have all of my friends listening to "Director" That's a BAD CD!! Kudos for doing what you had to do. Hopefully you will get all of your props now.
