Avant Leaves Geffen Records to Sign with Capitol Records

R&B singer Avant has signed a new deal with Capitol Records, after parting ways with Geffen Records. After recording ‘My Thought,’ ‘Ecstasy,’ ‘Private Room’ and ‘Director’ albums that has either reached gold or platinum, Avant looks to continue his legacy of hit making with a new label behind him.
“It feels good to sign with Capitol, they’ve shown that their dedicated to pushing their resources for my projects. I look forward to a long lasting relationship with many, many hit records,” said Avant. Avant will be releasing a new single in March and a full album in the summer of 08’.
The forthcoming album schedule for 2008 will feature production from Rodney Jerkins and DJ Smurf to a name of few. He will also be touring with the group TGT (Tyrese, Ginuwine & Tank) & will once again re-enact his acting role in the play, ‘Love in the Nick of Tym’e featuring Morris Chestnut in the New Year as well.

Man I was wondering if him and R Kelly was related becuz that what I was told. And they do look alike.
I can't wait to hear the new Album! Why does it seem to be that everyone is leaving Geffen Records? I can't wait to see the new movie with Avant and Morris chestnut.
