JoJo to Clown Her Peers in New Lifetime Movie

R&B singer JoJo (born Joanna Noëlle Levesque) is set to poke fun at her troubled pop peers by playing a heavy-drinking young starlet in a new TV movie.
JoJo will play a struggling star in “True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet,” which will air in 2008 on the Lifetime network, reports Contact Music.
Former child star Valerie Bertinelli, who will play JoJo's mom in the film, says, "Here's this beautiful young starlet, who drinks too much and ends up in rehab. That's so unusual. Where did that come from?"
JoJo is slated to start working on her next album in January.
