Kornbread and Slim are in good company. As members of the production company Knightwritaz (Mario, Sterling Simms, etc) and the J. Erving Group they are poised to be the next big thing in Hip-Hop. Hailing from Texas and Atlanta, respectively, Kornbread and Slim crossed paths when both artists moved to Philadelphia. As a group they began working with well known Philly producers Dre and Vidal. Through Dre and Vidal, Slim (aka Sugar Tongue Slim) was given the opportunity to co-write Ciara's smash hit "Oh" featuring Ludacris. With a number one hit already under their belt before anyone knew their names, there is no telling what Kornbread and Slim will accomplish now that they are being unleashed on the world. Their brand new single "Magic Man" has all the makings of yet another club banger and will surely turn them in to the next Hip-Hop superstars.
