Boxie (Jason Dendy), The seventeen year old musical Prodigy grew up in one of the most notorious cities New York has ever known South Jamaica, Queens. Despite all of the negativity around him, Boxie had one thing that kept him out of harms way, Boxie had the gift of music. Unlike his oldest brother Nikim aka Boxie who is serving life in prison (where the name comes from) instead of following the path of the street. At the young age of three Boxie began singing in the church choir where other members of his family would sing as well, such as his mother and grandparents. He became a regular every Sunday to lead to children?s choir in a selection. By the young age of ten, Boxie had began working with professional children companies such as Disney in Broadway musicals (The Little Princess, Caroline Or Change, Telling Our Stories and MOSES: the hip hop musical) having leading roles in all, he worked on his craft of the stage every chance he would get to perfect his performance knowing one day he would land a major recording contract. At the age of thirteen Boxie thought that classical Broadway music was not enough, thus he conquered becoming a 3X winner of ?Showtime At The Apollo.? Today Boxie has a solo recording contract with one of the greatest labels ever to touch the music world, Murder Inc/Mpire Records.
