Ray, Renny, Edge and Noura have known each other for some time now. The four encountered each others creative differences in the club scenes of Amsterdam where they danced, sang and did the things teenagers do these days. The rebellious teenagers are from very different descent. Brothers Ray and Renny hail from the sunny island of St. Marten in the Caribbean. Edge is of Dutch origin and Noura was born in Morocco. Between the four there are many commonalities such as their love for music, their relentless will to succeed, their strong motivation and their captivating tireless movement to the rhythm of their songs.

As for Ray, Renny and Noura it is a family thing to be inspired to dive into music. Their relatives have always been involved in various expressions of the arts. The brothers Ray and Renny traveled throughout the Caribbean performing and this was a perfect grooming measure to their creativity and path to stardom. The brother’s family moved to The Netherlands. This is when they started to test their talents in songwriting and found much pleasure in the result. Later in age Ray & Renny appeared in a club performance and the club D.j. was overwhelmed by their stage presence and overall talent. The D.j. asked them to record a song with him. The title of the song recorded was ‘That Girl’. The song took them to many stages across Holland and Germany.

Noura, born in Morocco later moved with his parents to Germany. At the age of six Noura’s uncle a local performing arts artist asked him to feature in a video. Noura’s captivating performance and energy made his uncle realize that he had a passion for the arts even at such a young age with dedication and practice Noura learned to cope with expressing and delivering the passion of a song.

Edge is a Dutch boy; the only member who's has the same love for music as the others but did not come inherit it from his ancestors. Edge kept a personal diary which provided an outlet to release his tangled emotions as he wrote and began singing along with the radio. During his schooldays he decided to enter a competition where he remained one of theist 50 contestants standing. In the competition Popstar he made his way to being one of the last 15 competitors. Edge has committed himself to fitness, dance and constant practice on his vocals to reach his dream of becoming a full time performer.

With the four members of GLOWB’S drive and determination they had a plan and have committed themselves as a unit to execute it. And they did just that. Early in 2006 at a live Akon concert in Amsterdam a previous business associate of Konvict Muzik Group requested backstage access and introduced GLOWB to Akon and partner Melvin Brown. After review of GLOWB, S package material Akon’s Konvict Muzik Group signed the group. GLOWB is currently preparing to release their undeniable single “Damn That Girl”. This combination of pop with a twist of diversity and pure talent will become a household name across the nation.
