The Campbell (formerly Atkins) sisters grew up as part of a large family in Inglewood, California. Their parents were gospel singers themselves, and the sisters quickly entered the world of church choirs, travelling gospel shows, and some television productions. The sisters began songwriting, and gained success in the music industry for their work. "Dance" appeared in the 1998 film Dr. Dolittle and "Let Go, Let God" appeared on one of the soundtracks for the film The Prince of Egypt in that same year.
