Sybil is a American R&B/pop singer, who has been recording since 1986. She is best known for her covers of Dionne Warwick's hits "Don't Make Me Over" and "Walk On By", which were released in 1989 and 1990 respectively. They were both Top 20 successes on the UK pop charts with the latter being the highest charting position for this Bacharach/David classic (No6), narrowly beating Gabrielleäs version which made No7 in 1997.
