After lending his pen to some prominent projects including Tyrese’s album Open Invitation, TGT’s album Three Kings and following his 2013 project Higher Ground, Grammy nominated songwriter Kenyon Dixon releases his next EP Twenty Four.
Calling his music “rhythm & vibe,” Kenyon definitely puts down good ones on Twenty Four. The set includes features by Namebrand, Sir, and Glee actress/singer Amber Riley, along with backing vocals/production contributions by frequent collaborator/singer-songwriter Alex Isley (daughter of Ernie Isley of the famous Isley Brothers). “Got Me Somebody” and "I'm Good" highlights the set as a few standout grooves.
Kenyon tells MajorCulture.com:
“Twenty Four is a culmination for me. All of these records were written in my last couple months of being 24 years. I feel like with the last few projects I've released, I've created my vibe, locked in on it and now it's time to see where else I can take it. So going into 25, because I feel like it's viewed as such an important year in age, I just wanted something new. Something I haven't done before without losing what I’ve created. This is the beginning of that.”
