Nicki Minaj notoriously plays many characters in her rhymes (Roman Zolanski!), but now she can officially add "actress" to her already extensive resume as she'll hold her own in Hollywood alongside Cameron Diaz in the upcoming comedy, The Other Woman.
Out on April 25 in the U.S., the film features Nicki as “Lydia” (the assistant to Cameron’s character “Carly”) who gives her boss love advice on how to handle a sticky situation between Carly and her newly-discovered married boyfriend Mark (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau). Carly forms a bond with his wife, and together they find out about yet another woman, and all three betrayed women plot their revenge scheme on three-timing Mark.
Technically this isn’t Nicki’s first time acting; she aspired to be an actress as a pupil at PS 45 Clarence Witherspoon School as a child, and took part in all of the stage productions.
Take a peek below at Nicki’s acting chops and sound off…is an Oscar in her future?
