"With this album, I’m really taking the 90s R&B sound that is familiar to me and my fans, and that they’ve grown to love over the years and that they’ve been asking me for," stated Daron.
He added: "I’m taking that sound and I’m reinventing it by doing a new and improved version of it, so that’s really what the album is going to be like which is the 90s sound blended by the music that I’m inspired [by] now."
Jones also plans to separate himself from the pack of singers with a laser focus on emphasizing his vocals skills, "I really put a major focus on just crazy vocals like the rifts, runs, high notes and lush harmonies."
