Keyshia Cole Working On New Album, Confirmed Tank Duet
R&B singer Keyshia Cole, who gave birth to her first child in March with Daniel Gibson Jr, is back in the studio working on her fourth LP. The follow up to Cole’s last release ‘A Different Me,’ which is certified platinum, is said to have a duet with singer/producer Tank.

A producer on the project, “Toxic” Donald Alford, who is also responsible for “Trust,” the collaboration between Cole and Monica, tells, “We’re doing a lot of new records for her. We got a hot record coming with her and Tank in the future, so ya’ll can be on the lookout for that.”

He went on to say, “I produced ‘Trust’ so it’s somewhere around there. A slow ballad, duet type of record. I guess she comes to me for the duets.”

When asked if it would be a potential single, he replied, “Probably so. It’s a hot record, so you never know, but at the end of the day, I think it’s a gem.”

The new album is said to also feature productions from Krucial Keyz, The Runners, Kanye West, and Missy Elliott.

Cole returned to the spotlight for her first televised appearance since the birth of her son, filling in for Hayley Williams to sing the chorus to B.o.B.'s "Airplanes (Part II)", featuring Eminem at the recent BET Awards. Her performance was met with mostly negative reviews.
