In her first interview since the untimely death of her son and entertainer Michael Jackson, Katherine Jackson surprisingly defends her husband, Joe Jackson ! Speaking with Geraldo at Large, Jackson dismisses claims that Joe Jackson was not allowed to see their grandchildren. “I don’t know why they’re saying he’s not being allowed in the house. My husband’s never done nothing of the sort that they trying to say he did 39 years ago. I don’t understand that, and I just believe it’s something that they cooked up.” As for rumors that Jackson would not be allowed to interact with grandchildren out of fear, Katherine Jackson says he has full rights to interact with them and has been doing so: “Of course he is. And the children will tell you that he is,” Jackson went on to say. In related news, Katherine Jackson was named the official guardian of the late King of Pop’s children during a Los Angeles based hearing Monday. According to Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff, Katherine Jackson will also receive a monthly allowance from her son’s estate. The three children, between the ages of 7 and 12, have been with Jackson since their father’s death in June.
